The JW Show runs a #MadeInKenyaByKenyans campaign aimed at supporting, mentoring and promoting young, budding Kenyan designers. One of the designers showcasing at this years edition is Roma Designs Africa.
Here’s a brief breakdown of what they’re all about.
About Roma Designs Africa
Created by Kenyan designer Robert Mandela, Roma designs aims at making it’s mark in not just the Kenyan fashion scene but also the international fashion arena.
Robert started making African print shoes and bags in 2013 and has since transitioned from not only shoes and bags but also to clothes. He expresses his passion for his work through the creativity he puts into his collection, propelling his brand to new heights.
“It is very interesting and relevant especially at this time in the fashion scene , not only in Africa , but also in the world. Remembering where we come from as a people of a culture and reminiscing on the past is at times key when it comes to finding our way in the future,” expressed Robert on the theme of the show.
