Safaricom CEO, Bob Collymore, officially got back to work yesterday after taking a nine month break. Collymore took a sick leave last year October before flying to London for treatment.
The CEO yesterday took to twitter to announce his comeback as well as thanking those who supported him during that time.

“I’m back. Thanks to everyone who supported me over the past nine months especially the clinical team at @UCLH, my superb @Safaricom PLC team and of course my wife @WambuiKamiru.
Collymore had left the country for London for specialized treatment at University College London Hospitals. The illness that made him leave has remained unknown to the public but for him to take such a long break we assume it had to be something serious.
He made his first public appearance yesterday in Parliament where he had to discuss different issues with Parliaments ICT committee.
