Bob Collymore has turned out to be a household name, being a man who has made quite remarkable achievements and also some outrageous moves in a land far from home and now again he has been appointed to be one of the board members to spearhead the Cancer Agency.

” I wanted a bigger car and a bigger house, like most people  but things later changed,”…Bob paused as he was being interviewed by Business Daily reporter Ng’anga Mbugua. Bob Colymore has been working for Safaricom for 9 years and as a  C.E.O , he has managed to spearhead the company to be among the top companies in East Africa. In his tenure as a C.E.O, the company has continued to have a gross profit margin increase in every financial year.

Bob brought the internet to a stand when he tied a knot with a long time friend Wambui Kamiru on 2nd April 2016 and the netizens kept wondering what led the self proclaimed C.E.O to hook up with a Kenyan. ” I’ve been divorced twice and now am married .” Bob exclaimed. He purports is first marriage was quite challenging since he was in his early 20’s but his second relations he believes things would have been handled differently. Life is full of lessons to be learnt and now he is living better.

Bob Collymore has won many accolades and awards as one of the top C.E.O’s in East Africa. Life came to a standstill in late 2017 when he had to take a medical leave to concentrate on his health. Many people thought that he took the medical leave as there was a plan by the opposition to boycott Safaricom products but it turned out that he was truly in dire need of the latter.

Bob was battling with Cancer for 9 months and he came out stronger after undergoing treatment outside the country. He is expected to be leaving Safaricom this coming August and now he has landed a new job in the parastatal after coming out publicly to mention off of his exit.

He is expected to help the cancer patients who are in the country as he had already commenced a program on how to extend a hand to those diagnosed with the disease. As Varcity we extend our good wishes to Bob Collymore in his new appointment.
