Popular local TV station NTV has to be going through a tough time as most of the well know anchors seem to be leaving the Aga Khan owned station one after the other.
It all started with Linus Kaikai, the stations former General Manager, followed by Larry Madowo who was a news anchor/the trends presenter, then Victoria Rubadiri and now Nimrod Taabu has followed the ‘trend’.
Jane Ngoiri who has been anchoring ‘Ntv Jioni’ with him since the year 2012 yesterday took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt fare well message. “May the Almighty God Bless you in this New Chapter of your life”, read a part of the message.
It is not yet clear what could have triggered the mass exit at the once top TV station but as of now no doubt Citizen TV has taken over.
Here is the full message Jane Ngoiri penned down for her now will be former colleague;
What an emotional day it has been. I can feel the void in my heart. I still have tears in my eyes…errr balancing tears is no joke. I never thought a day would come to say Goodbye. Nimrod Taabu has being more than a colleague; a Best Friend.
“When I joined NTV in 2012, I was star struck by this guy who I watched and always wanted to do News with…and when I met him…we just clicked. Our chemistry on TV attracted eyeballs, we connected with viewers and it has always been fun working with NT.
“Nimrod Taabu; May the Almighty God Bless you in this New Chapter of your Life,’’
