The mai mahiu narok road has been completely cut off following the ongoing heavy down pour in different parts of the country. The road has been rendered impassable at a section near Karima Secondary school causing heavy traffic on either side.
The flood waters have dug a deep galley on the said section pausing a risk to motorists using the route. The Kenya metrological department has said Western, Nyanza, Rift Valley, North and South Eastern coast, Central and Nairobi will continue receiving heavy rainfall.
Police have urged motorists to use alternative routes.
