Embattled Governor Mike Sonko seems to be going through a lot currently from pressure mounting on him to perform or leave office to his nomination of Miguna Miguna getting rejected by Mr. Miguna himself and his Jubilee counterparts as well.
In a phone call released by a local TV station, the governor says he does not have a problem with the president or any other person but just a single individual who he failed to mention. He went on to state that he will not be intimidated by anybody and if Miguna Miguna’s name is rejected he is ready to nominate another person to be his deputy.
In the phone call, Sonko says he nominated the controversial lawyer because of his harsh stand against cartel and he thinks Miguna meets all the requirements for the job. Here is the short conversation.
