It was another dull showing for the Kenya National soccer team Harambee stars on Sunday afternoon after being held to a 0-0 draw by Mauritius.
Although already qualified for the next round, the stars failed to capitalize on home ground advantage and instead put in a very dull display against a side many expected them to easily sweep them over after beating them 5-2 in their initial match.
The teams head coach Bobby Williamson admitted that the team needs to improve both on defense and attack.
Next up for the Stars is Cape Verde in three weeks’ time, who, for anyone’s worth, will be much tougher to beat and better organized than the Mauritians and Kenyans can only hope the stars improve on their shady display and go for a win.
The Stars have been dimming for quite a while now and it is now time to them to shine and show the true spirit of Harambee.
