NASA plans to have Tanzanian King of Bongo Flave Ali Kiba perform at their thanksgiving celebration. They planned the event after the Supreme Court nullified Uhuru’s election.
Kiba is a very close friend of Mombasa governor Hassan Joho and the two have been seen spending a lot of time together in the past so this isn’t much of a surprise.
Ali Kiba accompanied Joho to collect his certificate once he was announced the winner during the elections earlier this month and he also cancelled a show in Germany so he could perform at a NASA rally alongside Willy Paul.
Ali Kiba’s assistant manager Aidan Charlie Sleeve confirmed the reports that Kiba would perform locally and said “Ni kweli ameitwa Kenya lakini nisingelipenda kulizungumzia hilo kwa undani. Kikubwa niwashukuru Watanzania na niwaombe tuendelee kuisupoti muziki mzuri kutoka kwa Kiba na wanamuziki wote wa Rosckstar.”
Ali Kiba has reportedly been booked a private plane by NASA from Dar es Salaam.
