The Teachers Strike Still On! Wilson Sossion Confirms

It is back to school and the looming teachers strike has left many parents wondering how the first term of 2019 will look like.

Schools are to reopen for the first term on 3rd January and the Kenya National Union Of Teachers (KNUT) has issued letters to various schools telkling the teachers not to report to work.

The Union is opposing the transfer of teachers that has been done and the Teachers Sercive Commission has confirmed that back up teachers have been sent to various schools to stand in place of the teachers that have gone on strike.

KUPPET has refused to join the KNUT in the strike saying that the strike is not relevant and that there are other problens facing teachers that should be adressed and not the transfers.
