The third suspect in Monica Kimani’s murder, Brian Kassaine is finally a free man after spending seven days in custody.
Kiambu Principal Magistrate Justus Kituku freed Kassaine on Thursday morning under conditions that he will be submitting his passport in the next 48 hours and he will also be required to report at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations offices every Thursday for the next two months to aid in investigations.
His freedom came after he agreed to be a state witness in the Monica Kimani’s case. Meanwhile Kassaine is now trending on Twitter as many Kenyans on Twitter tend to think he is a snitch. Here are some of the reactions on Twitter;
Brian Kassaine reminds me on how the Massais collaborated with the colonialists. Next time a Massai befriends you remember the story of Joseph Irungu. BE WARNED! TRAITORS! pic.twitter.com/vnL3MovUmN

So Brian Kassaine is set to walk out a free man and work closely with @DCI_Kenya in nailing the Maribe-Jowie case. He has been turned into a state witness. This is a game changer for the whole Monica’s murder case.
