#ThirstTrap Luca Jojo – The Hot Ghanaian Fitness Instructor!

Emmanuel Jojo Forson Iman is a 23 year old final year student of BA Sociology and Economics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. He is also a fitness instructor.

Due to his large following on Instagram, we got in touch with him to find out more about his profession in fitness.

  1. You are a fitness instructor, how did this come to be?

My fitness journey started 2013 and it was basically to look nice in a shirt and be fit until i became addicted to the gains I would see every day. I turned this addiction to be a champion and an instructor in the field.

2. Could you explain what exactly your work encompasses?

My work involves helping people to acquire mental and physical fitness, body goals and a healthy state of mind. Saying goes, “Health is wealth”, right?

3. Did you have a hard time starting out and gaining confidence and support?

Difficulties and challenges will come your way but it’s up to you to withstand them. If you know the direction you are moving in, for instance, I’d see my mates using building natural supplement and diet plan that I couldn’t afford and it made me feel like quitting  but I’d remember the positive feedback I’d get from my followers and keep going, knowing things  would get better. I support myself in this path I have chosen, yet to see if I will get sponsors, L.O.L!

4. What can you state as your major challenges so far as an individual in this kind of job?

Getting people to invest in the fitness dream in my part of the world, Ghana is rare.

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”-Mohammad Ali.. #active #always #art #aesthetics #bodybuilding #bodybuildinglifestyle #bodybuildingcom #bodybuildingmotivation #creative #capturegh #chocolate #d#eatcleantraindirty #fitspo #fitnessmotivation #fit #symmetry #shredz #shredded #shredzarmy #mckad photography #boxing #black #model #gh #webeastin ..PC– @mckad_photography @mckad_photography @mckad_photography Light__ @its_kalmer @its_kalmer .. 5. What challenges are there in your field generally and how do you think they can be tackled?

A lot of people associate our work with womanizing and new era lifestyle instead of seeing it from a healthy life point of view. I think all professional fitness instructors should bridge their personal interests from work ethics. People should have fitness in their daily routine instead of as a hobby.

6. Any major achievements so far?

I have not enrolled in any competition yet. I was nominated KNUST’s man with the best physique without auditioning (though there was an audition). Within less than 2 months I turned my personal social account to a fitness page. I have moved from a thousand followers to almost 11 thousand. I wrote an abs workout routine for an upcoming magazine named Soul Touch, model for some kennel agencies and so on. 2016 has actually been a good year for a new movement like mine.

7. What’s ahead for you (your goals) in the future?

The next thing on my mind is creating my website page to broaden my reach, a YouTube channel for my workout routine ,clothing line, signing up to a sports movement or label. All I can possibly work for, God willing.

8. What word of advice would you give any young person looking to be a fitness instructor?

To anyone who wants to join in the profession, I believe in you. It won’t be easy as you start but your pain will be worth the sacrifice.

Fitness needs to be part of our daily square meal. Keep supporting my brand, I will keep motivating you. Thank you.
