President Uhuru Kenyatta this morning held a press briefing at State House in Nairobi to speak about the state of the October 26th repeat elections and other issues.

He announced that despite all that is going on in the country and what some may be trying to get you to believe, the repeat polls will go on as planned.

He took the opportunity to also discuss Roselyn Akombe’s resignation form IEBC as he had earlier been criticised for not speaking about it.

He then announced a National day of prayer to be held this Sunday 22nd. He called for reconciliation of this country’s people as well.
