Ever since the closing of The University of Nairobi after the strikes that happened after the student elections, the Vice Chancellor has released a statement.
Many students were under the impression that the school was opening today for their exams however the VC has said otherwise.
The statement reads;
This is to inform all students and staff as well as the general public that the University of Nairobi remains closed.
The information about re-opening in circulation on social media is false and malicious. The students under suspension will appear before disciplinary committees from 19th to 21st April,2016.

Guess people will have to wait yet another week before handing in their term papers.
