Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee has become the first African artiste to be signed by an international music distributor, Universal Music Group.
Vanessa broke the good news to her fans on Instagram, thanking them for their unwavering support as she expressed her joy for joining the American global music corporation.
“Hii ni habari njema kwa mashabiki wangu na ndiyo kwanza tumeanza.Mambo makubwa zaidi yanakuja,” she wrote.
