What Earth Day Should Mean To You

As many people continue to doubt the actuality of climate change, surface heat of the earth continues to increase and the weather patterns continue to change and become more unpredictable.

The average human being should give a hoot about climate change as it is eating away our habitat-planet Earth. Here are a few things you can do to reduce you can do to harm Mother Nature less.

  1. Consume minimum power

Charge your phones less, iron when you have to, don’t put on all you gadgets in the house at once (TV and radio) and own enough technological gadgets to sustain your well-being.


  1. Ditch the plastic

If you can avoid picking up those plastic bags at the supermarket or even bottled mineral water, please do. If you can’t, be sure to dispose of them properly. They kill crop and block the drainages.


  1. Pay attention to what the “weathermen’” say

Yes, weather and climate isn’t as interesting as Kim and Kanye drama but it news on this has a better and more direct impact on your life.


  1. Plant

I’m not asking you to be a mama mboga but if you can maintain just a little garden of flowers, it goes a long way to save the earth.


  1. Don’t waste water

Water may turn out to be a luxury in the future with these unpredictable changes. Do not leave taps running.


  1. Enjoy Mother Nature

Go out to forests and parks as much as you can. That is how you get to appreciate Mother Nature and get the urge to protect her more. She is beautiful.
